Thats right! The 1st Utah Open Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Tournament will be held at Link Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Utah!

When: Saturday, July 31st 2010, from 10am until 5pm.
Where: Link Brazilian Jiu Jitsu – 192 N. Fairfield Road Suite #2, Layton UT 804041.
Cost: $50 Adults and teens, $35 children.

Upon payment of the registration, participants will receive a T-shirt of the event!

Medals will be awarded for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place! Come represent your gym and show off your skills!
All ages and skill levels are welcome. Tournament will be divided by weight and skill level, and will be held according to the national BJJ tournament rules of Brazil and will encompass all divisions, from kids to Masters.

Head instructor Fabio “Jungle Boy” Serrao won the belt at the NAGA held on May 30th 2010, in Springfield Massachusetts. It is a great victory for Fabio and for Team Link! It was by far the best performance from Team Link in grappling competitions up to this day. We beat our own record and brought home 6 championship belts and a lot of gold,silver and bronze medals from this tournament! We train harder than anyone else, and it pays off!

Our team mate Alex Johnson took the title at Gamestop’s UFC Undisputed tournament 2010! There were two tournaments in Utah, and he won the one held in Centerville Utah. Alex took home several prizes from Gamestop and Team Link! Alex is an upcoming talent on the mat and we are excited to see where his persistence takes him!

Of course, he won the tournament playing Gabriel Gonzaga!
